About This Experience
Legoland Dubai is unusually clear about who it is for: families with children roughly 2 to 12. Nearly everything in the park is built to a child's scale, and a large proportion of the rides are designed so that a parent and child ride together rather than one watching the other.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Miniland
The centrepiece, and the part adults consistently rate highest. The UAE's landmarks — the Burj Khalifa, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the creek — are rebuilt from millions of LEGO bricks, with moving vehicles and day-to-night lighting. It is genuinely impressive craftsmanship.
Six themed lands
LEGO City has driving schools where children earn a licence; Kingdoms has the park's main coaster; Imagination is build-focused; Adventure runs on a lost-temple theme; Factory shows how a LEGO brick is actually made.
Building, not just riding
Workshops and build stations are spread through the park, which gives younger children a way to enjoy it between rides and gives everyone a break from the sun.
GOOD TO KNOW
Plan a full day. Height restrictions are low compared with most parks, so very young children can ride far more here than elsewhere. Shade and indoor sections are limited in places, so bring hats and sunscreen.
