About This Experience
Five nights built for children and parents alike: a whole day at a theme park or waterpark, the sharks and rays of the Dubai Aquarium, the view from the Burj Khalifa, an evening in the desert, a dhow cruise and a day in Abu Dhabi. A family-friendly hotel and a private car keep the days easy — no shared coaches and no waiting for other groups.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A Day at a Theme Park or Waterpark
Choose one: IMG Worlds of Adventure, indoors and air-conditioned (see our IMG Worlds guide); Legoland Dubai for younger children; Motiongate Dubai; or the slides of Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. Browse all theme parks and water parks; we suggest the best fit for your children's ages with the quote.
Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo
Inside The Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium holds more than 33,000 animals in a 10-million-litre tank, with a 48-metre walk-through tunnel, and the Underwater Zoo upstairs is home to King Croc and the Gentoo penguins. The Burj Khalifa At the Top entrance is in the same mall, so the two make one easy outing.
An Evening in the Desert
The Evening Desert Safari picks you up in the afternoon for about 30 minutes of dune driving in the red dunes of Lahbab, a sunset stop on the crests, then an evening at camp: camel rides, sandboarding and henna, a BBQ buffet dinner, and tanoura and fire shows. Tell the driver if you would like the dune drive gentler. Camel rides and sandboarding are the children's favourites.
A Dhow Cruise in Dubai Marina
The Dhow Cruise Dinner in Dubai Marina sails for about 90 minutes past the Marina towers and the Yacht Club, with an international buffet that includes vegetarian dishes, a tanoura show, and an air-conditioned lower deck or an open upper deck.
A Day in Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi City Tour visits the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, Heritage Village, the Corniche and the Date Market — about an hour and a half by road from Dubai. Ferrari World and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi can be added as an extra day.
WHERE YOU STAY
We suggest family-friendly hotels — with a pool, and family or connecting rooms where the hotel has them — in Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR or Bur Dubai, at the star level you choose, with breakfast every morning.
GOOD TO KNOW
A land package. The package covers your hotel, private transfers and the experiences listed, in the UAE. International flights are not included, so you can book the fares that suit you from any city.
Quoted for your dates. Prices are per person, two sharing a room, and depend on your travel dates, the number of travellers and the hotel you choose. Send us those details on WhatsApp or by email and we reply with a written quote. Nothing is booked or paid online until you approve it.
Visa. The UAE visa is not part of the package. If you need one, see our UAE visa services.
When to go. October to April brings the best weather. Hotel rates rise over Christmas, New Year and the Dubai Shopping Festival (4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027), so book those dates early.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does the family package cost?
It depends on your travel dates, the number of travellers and the hotel you choose. Send us those three details on WhatsApp or by email and we reply with a written quote, per person.
How are children priced?
By age. Tell us each child's age when you enquire and the quote prices each one; very young children often travel free at the parks and attractions.
Which theme park should we choose?
For children under about ten, Legoland Dubai; for teenagers, IMG Worlds or Motiongate; for a hot day, Aquaventure. We advise with the quote.
Is the desert safari suitable for young children?
Yes. Ask the driver for a gentler dune drive; the camp, the camel rides and the dinner suit all ages.
Are flights included?
No. This is a land package — hotel, transfers and experiences in the UAE — so you can fly from any city at the fare that suits you. Your driver meets your flight at Dubai airport.
Is the UAE visa included?
No. The visa is not part of the package; see our UAE visa services if you need one.
