The View at The Palm is the only place you can properly see Palm Jumeirah as it was designed. From Level 52 of The Palm Tower, the fronds, trunk and crescent finally resolve into the shape everyone knows from photographs — with the Arabian Gulf beyond and the Dubai Marina skyline across the water.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The arrival
The experience starts in the lift. A floor-to-ceiling digital display wraps the elevator as you climb, so the ascent is part of the attraction rather than a queue to endure.
The interactive theatre
Before the deck, a theatre tells the story of how the Palm was built — an island reclaimed from the sea using millions of cubic metres of sand and rock, with no concrete or steel in its foundation. It gives the view real context.
The observation deck
Floor-to-ceiling glass gives an uninterrupted 360-degree panorama: Atlantis at the head of the crescent, the fronds and their villas below, Bluewaters and Ain Dubai, the Marina towers, and on a clear day the Burj Khalifa inland.
PRIME OR NON-PRIME
Tickets are dated and timed. Prime slots cover sunset and the immediately surrounding hours — the most popular window by a wide margin, and the one that sells out first. Non-prime slots cover the rest of the day at a lower price, with clearer daytime visibility.
GOOD TO KNOW
Allow one to two hours. Book ahead for sunset, particularly in peak season. There is an open-air section as well as the glass gallery.
