At camp you have a reserved table rather than communal seating, which makes a real difference for families, couples and anyone celebrating something.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The desert

Thirty to forty-five minutes of dune bashing across the Lahbab red dunes, with sandboarding, camel riding and feeding, a falcon experience and sunset photo stops — at whatever pace suits your group.

Al Khayma Heritage Camp

Dinner is three live buffets at a camp with Michelin recognition, with gahwa, gaymat and a full show programme including tanoura and fire performances.

GOOD TO KNOW

The vehicle takes up to six guests, so the private option often works out sensibly per head for families or small groups. Pickup is mid-afternoon with a late return; bring a light layer for the evening.
